See Why Kids' Swimming Lessons at Home Are Loved by Parents

Parents across the Greater Toronto Area share how our mobile academy transformed their children from nervous to confident swimmers.

My three-year-old refused to put his face in the water. After four swimming lessons at home, he now jumps in willingly.

I am an adult who was terrified of deep water. My instructor from Aqua Swim Academy was patient and professional —a life-changing experience.

We tried two other swim schools. The commute was brutal. These swim lessons at home saved our weekends, and my daughter is learning well!

Our infant started at six months. Now at 18 months, she kicks and laughs in the water. Worth every dollar.

Adult beginner classes changed my relationship with water. I swim front crawl now. I never thought that would happen.

Frequently Asked Questions

We bring all necessary equipment to every lesson, including kickboards, pool noodles, floating toys, and underwater flashcards. For infant classes, we also bring age‑appropriate flotation devices. Parents do not need to buy anything except a swimsuit, goggles, and towel for their child. Your coach will arrive with a full teaching bag ready to go.

Our coaches are trained in gentle redirection. We never force a scared child. Instead, we pause, offer comfort, use toys or songs, and sometimes just sit on the pool steps. The lesson becomes about building trust, not completing skills. Most children participate within 10 to 15 minutes with gentle encouragement.

Yes, just as long as they are 18 years of age or older and able to assist the child with its needs if applicable

We review sudden illness cancellations on a case-by-case basis. If your child wakes up with a fever on the morning of the lesson, call or text us immediately. While our policy requires 24 hours’ notice, management may approve a make-up for genuine medical emergencies.

Safety is our first priority. Every coach maintains constant visual contact and stays within arm’s reach of swimmers. We position ourselves within arm's reach of beginners. We teach safety skills like reaching for the wall, floating on back, and calling for help before teaching any stroke. All coaches are CPR and first aid certified.
